We are having the house appraised today. I will post the final figure when it’s available. The purchase price was 177,000. We added a 15,000 deck and other improvements since purchasing the house in 2006. The Hamilton County Auditor recently valued the house at 180,000 plus 3,000 for the woods we own behind the house.

I will not settle for less than 180k. I’m fine with selling the house and spliting the balance, almost 70k.

I’m ready to close this chapter in my life.

I am researching new housing opportunities for 2009. I selected a realtor today and he is looking for me as well. I will post MLS numbers once I find some good candidates.
