The Blog - A fathers point of view
Update: 7/6/2009
Nicole Omiatek, Violet’s mother decided last year that she wanted to be a Dyke and we finalized our divorce in May 2009. Nicole and I signed a parenting agreement which she’s not honoring at this point. During our marriage she was a control freak and lost it when she didn’t control the situation to her satisfaction. Currently, we will be going back to court because she doesn’t want to honor the shared parenting agreement. Here’s the section, straight from the parenting agreement….
D. Father shall be entitled to four (4) weeks of extended parenting time with the minor Child. Father’s extended time may be take in two one week periods of time with other two (2) weeks being taken throughout the year in daily increments. Mother shall be entitled to three (3) weeks extended parenting time with the minor Child which may be exercised in daily increments. For extended time of seven days, the Parent exercising extended parenting time shall provide the other with thrity (30) days written notice of the date on which he or she intends to exercise such extended parenting time. The extended time may be take at any time during the year, however, once the Child begins school the extended parenting time shall be taken during the summer, spring, or winter breaks so as not to interrupt the Child’s school days. If either parth requests a sing day of extended time, the he or she shall provide the other parent with at least seven (7) days written notice. If traveling out of state, a Parent shall provide to the other the name of the city and state where they will be taking the minor Child and also provide a contact number at which to reach her.
I will post more as the trial goes forward. Nicole Omiatek works for Norwood City Schools and it’s where Violet will be attending Kindergarden in August.
